Awesome hidden treasure to view wildlife. Plenty of walking trails, fishing ponds and flower gardens.
Three of us had the best guided tour of Roxbury Park by the park's caretaker/superintendent. Ken was extremely knowledgeable & familiar with all the birds, insects & larger animals. I was truly amazed. Ken, thank you so much for a wonderful tour.

This place is very relaxing. No one hassles us when we visit anymore. The rental unit is a great venue
The park is a natural treasure. Ahead of his time, Ken has left much of the park natural while at the same time he has planted a pollinator garden for the insects.... especially birds, bees & butterflies. I can't recommend this park enough. We saw four different kinds of herons. Who knew?
So Charleston County wants to spend, destroying scenery for a useless section of highway, a thousand times the pittance that its town of Meggett would need to sustain this wonderful, important wildlife park? (9/17/2016) #ChsCountyPriorities
